Hi again!

log_7 (x + 7) = 2

Ok so we need to solve that by converting the logarithm to exponential form. We know that the expression
log_a (x) = b is equal to x = a^b

Thus,

x + 7 = 7²

x + 7 = 7 * 7

x + 7 = 49

Then subtract 7 on both sides

x + 7 - 7 = 49 - 7

x = 42

Let me know if you have any questions.

P.S. I am learning these this year, so I am not really good at explaining them. But of course my answers are correct :)
