hypothesis 1: could Britain and France have avoided appeasing Germany, the country would not have reorganized its military and therefore the war could not have broken out.
chamberlain appeasement policy only served to fuel Hitlers war ambitions and supremacy claims, and gave him more time to organize his military in preparation of his revenge and expansion wars.
