To solve this problem you must apply the proccedure shown below:

1. You have:

Sinα=opposite/hypotenuse

α=62°
opposite=x
hypotenuse=15 ft

2. When you substitute the values into Sinα=opposite/hypotenuse, you obtain:

Sinα=opposite/hypotenuse
Sin(62°)=x/15

3. You must clear "x", as below:

x=(15)(Sin(62°))
x=13.24 ft

The answer is. 13.24 ft
