Describe new mexico's state legislature

The legislature consists of both the House of Representatives and the Senate. They represent the needs of the people in their districts. The Legislature is responsible for making laws in New Mexico as well as raising and distributing money to run the state government.

New Mexico’s state legislature is the states legislative branch. It is made up of people of the House of Representatives and the New Mexico Senate. The legislative branch has 70 legislature s and 42 senators. (Found on internet)
