Neutrophils are known to be immune cell that first travels to the site of an infection and they help infection by releasing enzymes that kills microorganisms.

Macrophages are white blood cells present in the immune system that digest cellular debris, microbes, foreign substances and microbes.

Dendritic cells: they function by processing and present an antigen material on the cell surface to the T cells of the immune system.
