Some words have a prefix (B).

Every word has a root. It is the base of the word that contains the main meaning. While prefixes and suffixes have meanings as well, they cannot stand alone. Prefixes and/or suffixes can be added to a root to change the meaning of a word. However, prefixes or suffixes are not needed for a word to be considered a word.
