The volume of a rectangular prism is defined by the function, V(x) = x3 + 5x2 - 2x - 24. Use the zeros of the function to represent the volume of the prism, V(x), as the product of its linear factors.

we have that
V(x) = x³ + 5x² - 2x - 24

using a graph tool-------> to find the zeros of the function
see the attached figure

we know that
the
zeros of the function is when V(x)=0

the solution is
x=-4
x=-3
x=2
so
V(x)=(x+4)*(x+3)*(x-2)

the answer is
V(x)=(x+4)*(x+3)*(x-2)

The volume of a rectangular prism is defined by the function, V(x) = x3 + 5x2 - 2x-example-1
