In the human body which systems function primarily to defend the body against disease?

i'd say immune sistem

The immune system, but if you are talking skeletal, digestive, cardiovascular, muscular, or respiratory systems, I would say the cardiovascular or skeletal because the cardiovascular system transports blood around the body (Including white blood cells). It could also be skeletal though, because the bone marrow produces white (and red) blood cells. Hope this helps! :)
