This chart shows the impact of the Representation of People Act in 1918. This allowed women to vote for the first time, even if it demanded some qualifications such as property and college education. Before this, some men could not vote also, only wealthy men had the right to vote before this Act.

Basically this act gave free vote to all men and demanded some qualifications for women to vote. It was only in in the 20s that women could vote freely without qualifications.
