Distribute the -2 to both z and 5

-2(z) = -2z
-2(5) = -10

-2z - 10 + 20 > 6

Simplify

-2z - 10 + 20 > 6

-2z + 10 > 6

Isolate the z, subtract 10 from both sides

-2z + 10 (-10) > 6 (-10)

-2z > 6 - 10

-2z > -4

Isolate the z, divide -2 from both sides

-2z/-2 > -4/-2

z > -4/-2
NOTE: Only flip the sign if you are dividing a negative number (negative number in denominator)
z < 2

z < 2 is your answer

hope this helps
