Graded bedding is basically the process layers of sediment becoming less and less coarser (the sediment is becoming thinner) as the sediment layers. However, horizontal sorting is the complete opposite. The larger portions of strata tend to layer towards the top, while the finer, thinner debris layer at the bottom. As for C, you are correct, the answer is 3. We can tell by looking at the system of how the larger strata has settle
