It is to be remembered that aside from most of the Framers and Founding Fathers being of Christian origins, they were exposed to the political and social ideas present in Europe, which originated from Europe´s interest in returning to the bases of classical antiquity, Rome, and Greece. These ideals were reflected in the text of the U.S Constitution.
