Solutions will be,
X = -12
And
X = 2

First you take away 36 from both sides which leaves you with:
x^2+10x-24=0
Then you just factorise:
x(x+12)-2(x+12)
Take the numbers inside the bracket:
x+12 = 0
Minus 12 from both sides
x = -12
Then take the numbers outside the brackets:
x-2 = 0
Add 2 on both sides:
x = 2
