Volume of cylindrical part = pi*2^2* 2.5 = 10pi
Volume of the hemispherical part = 1/2 * 4/3 * pi * 2^3 = 5.333pi
Volume of the whole figure = 15.333 pi = 48.17 cm^3 to nearest hundredth.

volume of cylinder( lower section) = PI x r^2 x H
PI x 2^2 x 2.5 = 10PI
area of top section: (4/3 x PI x r^3)/2 =
(4/3 x 2^3) = 10.666 / 2 = 5.33 PI
10+5.33 = 15.33 which equals 46/3
answer is 46/3PI
answer is D
