we know that

in the triangle QRS
tan Q=RS/SQ

in the triangle XYZ
tan X=YZ/ZX---------> tan X=9/12------> tan X=3/4

so
∆qrs ~ ∆Xyz
tan Q=tan X----------> tan Q=3/4

the answer is
tan Q=3/4
