A community park is shaped like a trapezoid with a height of 30 yd, a top base of 25 yd, and a bottom base of 33 yd. The park has a circular fountain whose radius is 4 yd. What is the area of the park without the fountain? do not round Use 3.14 for pi.

area of trapezoid:

A = (a+b)h/2
A = (25+33)x 30/2
A = 870

area of circle:

A = pi x radius squared
A = pi x 16
A = 16pi

Park = trapezoid - circle

870 - 16pi = 819.7345175
