The Distance between city A and City B is 6.8cm. What is the actual distance if the map scale 2cm=40miles?

2 cm → 40 miles

Find 1 cm:
1 cm → 40 ÷ 2 = 20 miles

Find 6.8cm:
6.8 cm → 20 x 6.8 = 136 miles

Answer: The distance between city A and city B is 136 miles.
