From the molar gas volume 1 mole of a gas at standard temperature and pressure occupies a volume of 2.24 liters. Therefore;                                           1 mole of CO2 = 2.24 liters; thus;                                                                                  4.48 L will have;  4.48/2.24 = 2 moles                                                            Hence, 2 moles of CO2 at STP will occupy a volume of 4.48 L
