Proton-driven rotation of the c-ring of the f0 unit of the f1f0 atp synthase is required for complete passage of protons from the intermembrane space to the matrix.

It is a true statement.

ATP synthase is the primary functioning of enzymes. A proton pumping transmembrane is powered by ATP hydrolysis which is very important. For example; ATP produces anaerobic bacteria by fermentation then ATP synthase uses ATP which helps to generate proton motive force which is necessary for flagella motility and ion transport.

ATP synthase is in both ways where bacteria can live from photosynthesis or respiration and also in fermentation. In order to avoid wasting ATP hydrolysis, it is significant to control ATP-driven proton by pumping activity.
