Rosa bought a new hat when she was on vacation.

The following formula describes the percent sales tax Rosa paid.

B = t - c / c

Where
T= total price Rosa paid for the hat
C= total cost of the hat
B= sales tax (percent)

Rewrite the formula to determine the total cost Rosa paid for the hat.

The given formula is

B = (T-C)/(C)

Where B is the sales tax.

T is the total amount she paid for hat, and

C is the total cost of the hat .

In this question , we need to solve for T

We start with getting rid of the denominator C, by doing cross multiplication, that is

BC = T-C

Now we need to get rid of the C that is in the right side and for that we add C .

BC+C=T

It can also be written as

T=BC+C

C is the common factor in the right side .

T= C(B+1)

And that'sthe required answer .
