America was not fully isolationist before its entry into World War II. This is because the US implemented the Lend-Lease Act. This act allowed allied countries (such as Great Britain, France, and China) to borrow military equipment/weapons in order to help them in their fight against the Axis Powers. This law shows that America clearly favored the Allied Powers and were trying to help them win World War II.
