B, the pipe drops too much vertically to function properly.

We start off knowing the horizontal distance, 45 feet. We multiply that by 12 to convert it to inches, and we get 540. Now, we divide 540 by 25 to find out how many inches the pipe needs to drop. Turns out, 540/25 is 21.6, so 25 isn’t the exact inches we need it to drop. It drops too much.
