Answer: Most of the desert streams don't empty into the oceans because they probably evaporate because of the heat in the desert area and don't reach the oceans. The climatic condition of desert is very dry and warm. The dessert stream contains a small amount of water so it can be dried very fast. The water travel trough a long distance to reach the ocean and the temperature there is so high that the water evaporates in between the path of desert stream and ocean.
