The area of the regular pentagon is equal of 5 times the area of the triangle.

The formula of an area of a triangle:

A_\triangle=(bh)/(2)

We have:

b=11.8\ in\\h=8.1\ in

Substitute

A_\triangle=(11.8\cdot8.1)/(2)=47.79\ in^2

The area of the regular pentagon:

A=5\cdot47.79=238.95\ in^2
