A worker has filed a complaint regarding a serious hazard that could result in a fatality or serious injury. How will OSHA most likely respond?

OSHA would come and investigate this and if they deem it a hazard the workplace will be forced to fix it and they can get fined some depending on if it is really bad and they refuse to fix it can get shut down.

The answer is: Conduct a worksite inspection

During conflict between workers and employers, both sides could be wrong and did not tell the truth to the OSHA workers.

This is why every time they receive a complaint, they would conduct an inspection to ensure that the work site is following the standard made by OSHA. Usually this inspection is being done without the knowledge of the employer so they do not have time to any wrongdoings,
