According to Supreme court ruling in Roper v. Simmons, 543 U.S. 551 (2005), it is considered as unconstitutional to sentence anyone to death for a crime he or she committed while younger than 18. The argument for this decision is that at that age, people still haven't develop the full ability to be responsible for all of their actions.
