use the formula A=1/2h(b1+b2)
basically you multiply 0.5 and the height of the trapezoid (7)
then you add the bottom and the top of the trapezoid (14+8)
so your formula should look like A=1/2(7)(14+8)
your answer should be 77

\bf \textit{area of a trapezoid}\\\\ A=\cfrac{h(a+b)}{2}~~ \begin{cases} a,b=\stackrel{bases}{parallel~sides}\\ h=height\\ ---------\\ a=8\\ b=14\\ h=7 \end{cases}\implies A=\cfrac{7(8+14)}{2} \\\\\\ A=\cfrac{7(22)}{2}\implies A=77
