In 1992, Jason bought a gallon of gas for $1.24. Yesterday, he bought a gallon of gas for $2.08. What is the percentage increase of the price of a gallon of gas from 1992 to yesterday?

That would be (2.08- 1.24) / 1.24 as a fraction = 0.6774
as a percentage this is 67.74 %
