Answer: Olecranon bursitis
The swelling of the subcutaneous synovial-lined sac of the bursa on the boney tip of the elbow at the proximal aspect of the ulna, where more fluid will accumulate is known as olecranon bursitis. This condition occurs by direct blow or fall onto elbow and it characterized inflammation, pain, redness and limiting movement. The trauma could be managed with rest, ice, compression and elevation.
