you have the right to refuse to not be weighed,, as it is your right to declare what you want to do when it comes to your medical needs. if you do tell them how much you weigh instead of having them weigh you,, it is best make it as exact as possible. they prefer it to be in ounces as well,, but it is most crucial that you give them your exact weight especially if they are giving you any form of medication. if they dont know your exact weight when giving you medications it can become dangerous so please be aware of that. when telling them that you dont want to be weighed,, be polite but firm. let them know your exact weight (remember dont round down or up if its 6.6 ounces say 6.6 ounces,, not just 6 or 7) and tell them that you do not want to be weighed for personal reasons. you dont have to share these reasons if you dont want to,, so dont feel forced if they happen to ask you. if they show any signs of refusal,, speak firmly and say that you know your rights and you dont have to be weighed if you choose not to be. remember,, it is very important to be kind when talking about this no matter how whether or not they refuse to let you choose to not be weighed. if you face this refusal,, be firm with what you want and fight until you get it,, if you happen to be forced to be weighed you have the rights to sue for the denial of your rights. please remember though that if you are receiving any form of medications or drugs you MUST provide your exact weight. it is very dangerous if you take medications that are too strong or too weak for what you need based upon your weight so its very important to let them know the exact amount. always remember thought that you have all the calls when it comes to your medical needs and you have the rights to refuse any form of treatment or testings.
