Answer:

x^2+11x+24 =0

Explanation:

(x+2)^2+5(x+2)-6=0

Substitute

x+2 =y

y^2+5y-6=0\\(y+6)(y-1)=0\\y=-6,1

Now replace y by x values

x+2=-6\\x=-8\\x+2=-1\\x=-3

Roots are -3 and -8

The equivalent equation would be

(x+3)(x+8) =0\\x^2+11x+24 =0
