Answer:

Find number of cans that 15 large and small boxes can hold respectively.

1 large box = 12 cans

15 large boxes = 12 × 15 = 180 cans

1 small box = 4 cans

15 small boxes = 4 × 15 = 60 cans

Question wants to find how many more cans can 15 large boxes hold than 15 small boxes.

Find the difference between the number of cans in 15 large boxes and 15 small boxes.

Difference = 180 - 60 = 120 cans

Hence, 15 large boxes will hold 120 more cans than 15 small boxes.
