An architect is designing a building on a triangular plot of land if the base of the triangle is 100.8 ft and the height is 96.3 ft find the available floor area of the building.

To find the available floor area of the building, you use the formula for finding area of a triangle.

A = 1/2 x b x h
0.5 x 100.8 x 96.3
A= 4853.52 ft.²

The area available is 4853.52 ft.².
