Polynomials:
2x−6
2x^2−6x+4
2/3x^4−6x^3+4x

Not Polynomials:

Alright , lets get started.

A polynomial can have constants, variables or exponents that can be combined using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division but not division by a variable.

2x - 6 : Polynomial

2x^2 -6x+4 : Polynomial

(2)/(3)x^4-6x^3+4x : Polynomial

2x^(-2)-6x+4 = (2)/(x^2)- 6x + 4 : Not Polynomial because it has a variable in division.

Hope it will help :)
