The generic equation of the line is:
y-yo = m (x-xo)
The slope is:
m = (y2-y1) / (x2-x1)
m = (3 - (- 1)) / (3-0)
m = 4/3
We choose an ordered pair
(xo, yo) = (0, -1)
Substituting values:
y - (- 1) = (4/3) (x-0)
Rewriting:
y = (4/3) x - 1
Answer:
The equation of the line is:
y = (4/3) x - 1

P1=(0,-1)=(x1,y1)→x1=0, y1=-1
P2=(3,3)=(x2,y2)→x2=3, y2=3

Slope: m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
m=(3-(-1))/(3-0)
m=(3+1)/3
m=4/3

Point-Slope equation:
y-y1=m(x-x1)
y-(-1)=(4/3)(x-0)
y+1=(4/3)x
y=(4/3)x-1

Answer:
The equation of the line is: y=(4/3)x-1
