A secant is a line that cut the curve at atleast(minimum) two(distinct) points.

Clearly from the figure we could see that:

  • DE cut the circle at one point and hence is not a secant.It is a tangent.
  • Also, AC cut the curve at two point but is not a secant since it is a line segment and not a line( that extends infinitely in both the directions).

AC is a diameter of the circle.

  • Also, GH is a line segment that touches the curve at two points and hence is called a chord.

Hence, the answer is:

Line EF.

(Since it cut the curve and two point and also extend infinitely in both the directions )
