Dante bought a new graduated cylinder for his chemistry class. It holds 968 milliliters of liquid. If the cylinder has a radius of 4.4 cm, then how tall is the cylinder? (Note: 1 milliliter is equal to 1 cubic centimeter)

we know that

[the volume of a cylinder]=pi*r²*h-------> h=[the volume of a cylinder]/[pi*r²]
for V=968 cm³
r=4.4 cm
so
h=[968]/[pi*4.4²]-----> h=15.92 cm

the answer is
the cylinder is 15.92 cm tall
