In 2009, a Jamaican sprinter named Usain Bolt set a world record when he ran 100 meters in 9.58 seconds (or 0.160 minutes). If a car traveled at that average speed for 1 hour, how far would it travel?

37.5 kilometers

Hope this helps.

Explanation:

100 meters = 9.58 seconds aka 0.160 mins

x meters = 3600 seconds aka 60 mins

x = 60/0.160 x 100

x = 375 x 100

x = 37500 meters aka 37.5 kilometers

Hope this helps.
