Polygon ABCDE is dilated by a scale factor of 3 with the center of dilation at the origin to create polygon A′B′C′D′E′. If the endpoints of BC are B(3, 5) and C(5, 10), what is the slope of B'C'

Short answer: B'C' has the same as BC
Let the slope of BC have a slope of m

m = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)
y2 = 10
y1 = 5
x2 = 5
x1 = 3

m = (10 - 5)/(5 - 3)
m = 5 / 2
m = 2.5

Since the slope of BC is 2.5
The slope of B'C' = 2.5 <<<<<<<<<< answer
