the easiest way to solve this is to change the mixed numbers into improper fractions
how to do that:
multiply the denominator by the whole number and THEN add the numerator to your answer
2 2/4 = 10/4
1 1/2 = 3/2
10/4*3/2*5/*3
numerator: 10*3*5 = 150
denominator: 4*2*3 = 24
numerator/denominator
150/24 = 75/12 = 25/4 or 6 1/4
you need to simplify the fraction to get your final answer
