Important new weapons introduced in world war 1 could be the: Rifle, machine gun, flame thrower, mortar, and chemical weaponry! Tanks and aircraft were introduced and so was poison gas. Artillery was added and upgraded as well. Since there were new weaponry and forms of transportation, military tactics grew far more. Chemical weaponry was added to planes thus creating flying acts of danger!
