Carlos is arguing against the "immature brain" concept of teenagerhood. he can make all of these points except:

He can make all of those points except that there is no research suggesting teens behave differently than adults.
This is clearly wrong as there is quite a lot of research which tells us otherwise. Teenagers and adults obviously behave in different ways - teens tend to be far more immature than adults (even though there are a lot of immature adults, however, not as many as immature teens).
