The Nez Perce were found in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.
This tribal system comprised of small villages and used the forests and waters to find food. Horses were introduced early and allowed for movement of the tribe. The name "Nez Perce" means pierced nose in French which were the first European group to interact with the tribe.
