0, 0, 34, 27, 1, 13, 2, 63

0 + 0 + 34 + 27 + 1 + 13 + 2 + 63 = 140/8 = 17.5

mean: 17.5

Since we found the mean, let us subtract 17.5 with the data set.

17.5 - 0 = 17.5

17.5 - 0 = 17.5

17.5 - 34 = 16.5

17.5 - 27 = 9.5

17.5 - 1 = 16.5

17.5 - 13 = 4.5

17.5 - 2 = 15.5

17.5 - 63 = 45.5

17.5 + 17.5 + 16.5 + 9.5 + 16.5 + 4.5 + 15.5 + 45.5 = 143/8 = 17.87

Mean Absolute Deviation: 17.87

To find the mean add them all together then divide by the number of values.
0 + 0 + 34 + 27 + 1 + 13 + 2 + 63 = 140
140 / 8 = 17.5
Hope this helps!
