How does weather conditions affect the rate of photosynthesis

For example, if there is a drought in an area with many plants then photosynthesis will not be able to take affect due to water being one of the key elements in the chemical equation of photosynthesis. Or in a place like Seattle where it is very often cloudy with little sunlight,
it would be difficult for plants to get the nutrients that they need, also because of the chemical equation of photosynthesis, as it requires sunlight.

Here is the chemical equation of photosynthesis:

6CO,2+6H,2,O -S->C,6,,12,O,6+6O,2

It translates to:
Carbon Dioxide+Water -Sunlight—> Glucose + Oxygen

Hope this helps

When it is sunny and warm outside but not to hot to dry out grass or the soils the plants are able to absorb the sunlight and convert the sunlight into chemical energy but when it is cloudy and storming outside depending on how bad the storm is the rain can moisturize the soils and the roots are able to abosrob the nutrients too. If it really stormy outside to which there is hail, heavy rain to cause floods and thunder it could damage the plants because of the hail and it could get washed away by the floods from the heavy rain.
When it is cold outside just cold outside and not snowing it could freeze the plants espeically if it gets cold in the middle of spring (climate change for example) it could damage it because of it.
If it is winter outside the plants go into sleep like bears and other animals do during winter.
Due to climate changes the weather has been unpredictable like when the weather casters on the news say there is rain or snow in the near future, it gives the growers or farmers time to cover up the plants and everything but with climate changes the weather will be all nice sunny spring like weather to a cold winter like weather.

So to keep this answer short the weather conditions can affect the rate of photosynthesis really bad.

Hope this helped :)
