Can anyone help me please and explain this:

Write "60 pounds for $6.60" as a unit rate per ounce to the nearest tenth.
1 pound= 16 ounces

A: 1 lb/176 cents
B: 3 lb/ 33 cents
C: 1 lb/ 3.8 cents
D: 1 lb/ 0.7 cents

To find this answer you will write the rate given as a unit rate per pound. Divide the get this.

$6.60/60 pounds = $0.11/ 1 lb.

This is the same as $0.11 per 16 ounces. Divide again to get a unit rate per ounce.

$0.11/16 = $0.006875 or $0.007 or 0.7 cents per ounce

Choice D is correct, but it should say per ounce not per pound.
