In this question , we have to find the percentage increase where the origional amount is 1250 and amount of change is 618 .

To find the percentage increase, we have to use the following formula


Percentage \ increase = ( amount \ of \ change )/( original \ amount) * 100

Substituting the values in the formula, we will get


= (618)/(1250)*100 = 49.44%

And that's the required answer .
