Cicumference= 2*pi*r remember pi= 3.14
radius *2 is the same as diameter (you can use either one)
so solve:
C= 3.14 * 65
C= 204.1

The meaning of circumference is to find the distance around a circle or in other words the perimeter of the circle. The circumference of a circle can be calculate by using the formula C=2πr or C=πd.

In this exercise is given that a circular ice skating rink has a diameter of 65 feet, and it is asked to find its circumference. In this problem the diameter of the circle is given, so in this case the formula C=πd would be used, where d represents the diameter.

C=
πd
C=π(65 ft)
C=204.2 feet

The circumference of the circular ice skating rink is 204.2 feet.
