It will take 2.94 seconds to hit the ground.

All we need to do is input 0 for the height and 45 for h(0) and solve the equation.

0 = -5.2x^2 + 45
-45 = -5.25x^2
8.65 = x^2
2.94 = x

It will hit the ground after 2.94 seconds.
