Giraffe is considered as the largest ruminant and the tallest living terrestrial mammal. It is a genus of African mammals ( belonging to the kingdom Animalia) that are even toed.

Sex cells are the haploid, reproductive cells ( also called gametes, such as eggs and sperms that contain the sex chromosome).

As the name indicates, sex chromosome determines the sex of an organism.

Female Giraffe possesses XX chromosome ( that determines the female sex), whereas male giraffe possesses XY chromosome. Y chromosome determines the male sex of these organisms.
